Hello here is a recession in my LN40B650
After about 6months of market monitoring of LCD / plasma TV, I got slammed in July last. In the search for the best P / L ratio, I am very early became aware of the Samsung LCDs. I believe that I have found with the le40 B650 a very good LCD with a great price .
I’ve just Sony’s several times, Philips, LG’s, plasma, etc., in various different stores and looked at friends and am convinces them that the Samsung in the price range is just TOP.
Advantages:
o Hammer picture quality (even in low-input signals, super)
o Super black level (no Clouding ), very good contrast and color reproduction
o no hum, etc. no matter what brightness
o well-100Hz adjustable (it looks nothing like soap!)
o Optics (My class is very slightly wavy frame, other LCDs such as LG can see next to horrible)
o rotating (and beautiful), table stand is ideal (if you have ne dining
)
o super media player (if) with restrictions
o MKV support! >> Full HD on disk (but not DTS)
o any amount ports (but watch out: not only coax output Optical / RCA)
o DLNA content Libray and the whole schnickschnack is possibly quite useful
o PRICE / PERFORMANCE is the hammer!
Neutral and cons:
o restrictions on the media player (not a language change, not a 16:9 with VOB files, can not deliver for MP3 playback screen)
o speakers like almost every LCD? (But are still better than my old CRT)
o Panel reflects (if one looks at an angle on it, it bothers to hire? but not me) but a CRT, Tut.
o W-LAN module extra.
o Internet TV is apparently not yet mature?
Conclusion: For the price, there is nothing better in my opinion, therefore, 5 stars Of course there is still potential for improvement (especially) the media player. I hope that mend the Samsung support nor the little things by the MP firmware. Well another TV or even BD player but have not even something like MKV playback.
I hope I could hereby indecisive (like me help you then)!
